The American Health Association (AHA) is a non-profit organization with the singular mission of achieving longer, healthier lives for all people. Fighting cardiovascular diseases (heart disease and stroke)—still the leading cause of death globally—by focusing on three core goals:
- Reduce deaths from heart disease and stroke.
- Improve cardiovascular health for all people.
- Advance health equity so everyone has the opportunity to live a longer, healthier life.
